My wolf phantom ears are, most commonly, experienced on the top of my head. So I do have a pair of leather ears, with rabbit fur, that I can wear like a headband.
When I wear the ears and my fake tail (which is actually a large, real fox tail), they actually enhance the phantom limbs I already feel. Plus, there's then a nice tangible experience too.
In pictures and videos I've seen of wolves, their ears look like they're mostly on the top of the skull, not the sides.
